Driving Instructors Guide are proud to announce their sponsorship of a Team Filsell Motorsport Formula Renault at Silverstone on 15th October 2006 as part of the UK Formula Renault Championship.



Formed just 2 years ago by team principle Allen Filsell, Team Filsell Motorsport has completed two full seasons in the Formula BWW UK Championship and they have acheived great success, particularly with renound driver Matt Howson at the wheel who has been a multiple race winner in the series with Team Filsell.

Team Filsell Motorsport are now expanding and next season they are looking to compete in the UK Formula Renault Championship as well as continuing with Formula BMW. As part of their development programme Team Filsell choose the last race of the 2006 Renault Championship at Silverstone to enter their first competition outing for the Renault. And who better at the wheel than Matt Howson!



Proudly displaying the Driving Instructors Guide.com logo on the side Matt took a highly respectable 11th place on the second race at Silverstone, a fine acheivement considering this was the first competitive event the car had run in and the first time Matt had raced a Formula Renault!

The season has now come an end, however D.I.G are looking forward to a long term partnership with Team Filsell Motorsport including the possibility of further sponsorship for the Formula Renault Winter Series beginning November 2006.



Team Filsell are able to offer corporate packages including full hospitality and access to the team and cars during race meetings. In the future D.I.G hopes to run competitions to win these great days out so keep an eye on the guide for these exciting prizes to be won.
